A/C Click Noises? S70 1999

Is it 'normal' to hear clicking noises in the dash when the A/C is running. I noticed this today coming from behind the glove box. The sounds are infrequent, but I can occasionally hear them over wind noise when driving with the radio off. The car has electronic climate control and both the vent and blower were set to 'AUT' mode.
