Evaporator Changeout Update 850

Well guys...it's in. Man talk about a royal pita! Took about 14 hrs saturday and 8 today, but I also changed the filter dryer, thermostat, coolant and cabin filter assembly. I only had 2 screws and 3 clips left over! Still have to pull a vacuum and charge the system. The only snafu's I've got are the fan was on fan speed 2 when I started the car up. When I tested it all the way (position 4)I heard a faint pop and no more fan. Also the plastic lever that operates the recirc/fresh air damper crumbled in my hands, so needless to say I couldn't finish the glove box and cover panel. I ran out of energy and time so I didn't get to troubleshoot the fan other than checking the fuse which appeared to be ok. Does anyone have any ideas about the fan? Is there a hidden circuit breaker for it?
Time to grab a cold one and scratch this gawd-awfull job off the list....
