I changed to Bilsteins from shox.com at 75,000 miles. The old shocks were very tired. Price was $425 delivered for the set of 4, much cheaper than IPD. I did the shock mounts in front at the same time, because replacing them requires removal of the strut...so do it now. Rear shock mounts can be done at any time. Original spec volvo rotors and pads...all four wheels were $193 from discount foreign car parts in Groton Ct. Rotors are zimmerman...made in germany. Again, cheaper than IPD.
I have a T5M also. My driving style wears rear brake pads and rotors first, so rear rotors were changed once already. (According to my mechanic, it's not unusual for some manual cars to go thru rear brakes first...he explained the physics based on driving style, but while I heard him, and could repeat it, it doesn't make sense to me. I just accept it.)
Last piece of advice...spring clip kit for the rear brakes ($13)is a good idea. You don't want the pad to get stuck to the pin...could lead to frozen caliper and then a need for caliper replacement (est $120) and another set of rear rotors.
