Piece of Crap ABS Control Unit 850 1996

Guys- a bunch of places at car-part.com seems to have this part listed for reasonable prices; has anyone on this board bought the ABS control unit from here and it works fine?? Also, I'm thinking of getting one from a 1998 S/V series car, with the hope that it may be a more reliable(better manufactured) unit!! Anyone tried this with success???!!! BTW, my car is a 1997 T5.
