rubber elbow on manifold help 850

Besides having a higher rpm: 1500-1600, my CE light did not come on... strange.
I'll have to check out if there some malfunction codes stored in it; I'll need my OBDII scantool to retrieve them, my brick is a '96. On my other brick ('95),
there's no vacuum hose on the side of the intake (near the power steering pump), the vacuum line is going to the vacuum tower right to the flame trap holder. What is the year of your car ? is it turbo or non-turbo?
