Newbie! Auto tranny problems 850 1994

322 can be caused by PNP switch fault, but the usual PNP switch fault code is 313. 322 can also be caused by dirty/corroded/oxidized electrical conector on the gearbox conector, ECU conector, or speed sensor conector. Also a faulty speed sensor can cause that code. If the drivability problems are intermittent, it's probably a contact problem, but it wouldn't hurt to change the speed sensor. It's located on the tranny case, accessible from under car, back side, near the rear motor mount. It is attached with a single torx screw.
