RainX on Windshield Wiper S70 1998

No big deal ! ... Same thing happen to me recently when I did the same exact thing.

Take a good clean cloth and rub the blade and windshield reasonably hard a few times and it should be fine.

Also, depending on which aftermarket wiper blade you use, some of them have problems with these Rain-X type products. I tried most of the major brands out there since I got my S70 in May 1997; although I never just replace the blade.
Recently, I went with Bosch Micro Edge Excel. I found this to work quite well with Rain-X. Original Volvo wipers seem to have problems with Rain-X type products.
