Magnetic Drain Plug; Which Washer to use? 850

I bought a magnetic drain plug from FCP Groton online along with some aluminum washers, but the magnetic plug came with its own copper washer. Should I use the copper one because its meant specifically for it, or stick with the aluminum? They look the same size, but obviously being different metals they have different properties.
