Hi Trip,

What Rick says is good advise to follow. My thoughts are slightly different these days as i do most servicing myself, except the timing belt, and aux.

Oil once a year or every 3 to 5k depending of your style.
Spark plugs about every 12k miles, volvo says 30 but they are past their prime then.
Distrib cap and rotor every 30k to 50k or two years.
Plug cables every 100k min, i changed mine at 150k.

Air filter if you are using paper about 20 to 30k depending on how dusty/sandy you live.
Brakes make sure you have enough on them to get you to your next service.
Tyres tread about 3mm, thats still nothing really if you get caught in a major downfall.
Fuel filter between 30 and 40k yiu would be supprised how much crud is in by then.
Brake fuild changed evey 20k or at least every two years.
Coolant then same as Brake fuild.
