MIL/Lamda/Check Engine Light 850 1994

LazyPup,
Any emmision related fault, or fault that would affect the emmision specifications will cause the lambda lamp to come on providing there is a fault code recorded. As you found out, you got 3-1-5. You have done a thorough job of narrowing down the culprit. If indeed the only thing that has not been replaced is the evap purge control solenoid valve, then I would say that is your problem. Any valve can be checked first before replacement. Just find a mechanic who is willing to check it first before replacement.
