850s and 9000s 850

When the 850 was first introduced in 1993, it was the most technologically-advanced car built by Volvo up to that point. However, you still had the Saab 9000, which was an advanced car in its own right as well. I know that both the 850 and 9000 have their own quirks which make them charming, but which car is the overall champ when it comes to being well-rounded? I've been told that the Volvo is more reliable than the Saab, and vice-versa, and all this other stuff. They do have their complexities, though (ex: 9000's climate control system, 850's trip computer). The 850 wagon can hold more than even the 9000 hatchback, but I don't think that an R can hold a torch to a 5-speed Aero.
