Handful of problems on my 99 S70 T5 S70 1999

1- My power steering hose from the reservoir to the pump
is almost shot. Take a flashlight and look under the
reservoir connection and see if it weeping. There is a service
bullitin to take off the original crimp clamp and replace it with a regular
O-clamp that you can screw tighten. Second place
is under the hose where it is held by the bracket. See
if it is getting soft and weeping. The third place is at the
pump, make sure the O-clamp is scwrewed tightly. The winters are tough
on this hose. Mine has leaked a little bit every winter when it gets
about 20 degrees Far and under.

If you see PS fluid all over your alternator and starter your PS hose
is probably like mine.
