98-XC Check Engine Light

I have a 98-XC with 62,000 miles. The check engine light came on for the first time a few weeks ago and was taken to the dealer to find out what the cause was. The Code came back EFI 611 Fuel Evap. Leak. They cleared the code and ran fuel system test and no fault was found.

The light stayed off for about 3 weeks, 2 fill ups and about 500 miles until it came on again. We always take care to properly replace the gas cap.

Since the fuel system pressure test checked out OK, what should I look for?
Should I try a new gas cap?
How can I reset the light without having to pay the dealer to do it again?

Thanks.
