heater hoses 850 1995

The heater hoses on my 850 NA seem to be soft, and I want to replace them.
Both hoses have a clamp at the engine side, and a metal fitting on the heater core side. I wonder if anyone replaced this hoses on your 850 and how much labor is involved.
Please, share your experience since I do not see how to remove the hoses on the heater core side.
Also, do I risk to damage the core if the job not done right?

Thanks, yuri
