Wow, you gotta get a book. Or go buy one of the bootleg CD's over on Ebay for $15. Thats the intake manifold you're looking at and that humming motor is the idle control motor, don't unplug it. Go over to Volvospeed.com and cruise through some of the repair pages to get orientated to your vehicle.
