Front Wheel Bearing Replacement 850 1996

I am planning to replace the left front wheel bearing hub assembly on my 96 850 (80K).
In reviewing the Haynes manual on this job, the installation instructions say to "apply .12 to.16 inch of metal adhesive to the splines of the outer CV joint before installing the joint into the hub flange." My question is what type of metal adhesive is required? Can this metal adhesive be bought at a parts store or is a dealer the only source of this metal adhesive?

Also the instructions in the Haynes manual says that after torquing the bolts that hold the hub to the steering knuckle, to use an "angle tightening gauge."
My next question is, what is an"angle tightening gauge" and is it possible to do this part of the job without an agle tightening gauge?
Thanks in advance for any help someone can give me with these wheel bearing replacement questions.
