PLEASE HELP !!! Car will not start. Hazard lights staying on. 850 1997

I returned from a WEEK long vacation to discover my 1997 850 R battery was dead. I tried to jump start the car, and when I attached the jumper cables, the hazard lights came on, without the switch being engaged, and the motor would not turn over. I removed the battery, and had it tested. The battery tested good. I reinstalled the charged battery, and the moment I installed the positive cable, the hazard lights started flashing again, and the engine would not turn over. I tried starting the car in neutral, and still the same thing. I have ruled out the alternator, beacuse the battery is fuly charged. PLEASE HELP!!!
