Front End-old and new...Arno and anyone else-any ideas???!!! 400 1994

Hello All
Once again, i have a bodykit question. Ive found out that Volvo still make the bodykit for the 440, and all im after is the front bumper (front spoiler). After further correspondance with Volvo UK, i was told that the front bumper would not fit my car as it is a 1994 440 (new shape) and it was only designed to fit the older shape 440. I suppose this really goes out to Arno, as he seems to be technically proficient in these areas, but im open to any suggestions or ideas from anyone. I need to know wether the mountings on the new shape 440 are that different to the old shape 440. Im posotive that both cars are still the same width at the front, and that the only thing making a difference would be possibly the bumper mounting positions. Im sure that if my mate can fit a Corsa bodykit bumper to his Clio, i can get a aVolvo bumper to fit a Volvo!! As before, i`d welcome any suggestions or ideas (ive posted it on loads of other Volvo forums too)-i want to collate as much info as possible because i don`t want to spend £280 on the bumper and then bugger it up an not be able to use it all!!

So, thanks in advance to anyone who can give some sort of direction on this,

Bye, Dan.
