I appreciate your input. I have no experience with regards to sensitivity of this vs other detectors, mainly because I've never driven with anything else. But what you say makes a lot of sense. You actually have me thinking now that there may be a better place to mount the sensor. I really can't mount it very well behind the grille of the S70 like I did with the 740...everything is shaped differently and the hood partially shrouds the sensor. Maybe I could even circumvent my little wiring harness issue this way. Wow...way to get me thinking!!
