Gaz Filter Replacement 850

Whatever you do, don't pull on those D@@M clamps on the end of the fuel line too hard. I did and snapped one off. It cost me $200 for a new fuel line from the filter to the engine. Bay 13 said to pull real hard, and I did.......

When I looked at the fastener after I snapped it, it appears that you have to use your index and fore finger to pull back on the connector and apply forward pressure with your thumb. This unlocks the connector and allows it to come off.

My mechanic advised me that they make a tool for removing the fuel line. I'd try to find one at a good auto parts store like NAPA.
