2 Part Paint Question... S40-V40 2000

First you will need an orbitol polisher. Get 3M Finesse It for the polish. Do 1 2x2 foot section at a time, polish until it starts to dry, remove with rag. If all the scratches/marks are not gone, repeat proceedure. Then use a good wax, the synthetics can be a pain in the ass to work with so I would use something else. Some like Zymol, Mothers, etc. Maguiares uses silicone which only looks good for a little while, then wears off.
As far as paint get Dupont Imron 6000, polyeurothane. It is expensive but will not chip/scratch like enamels. Volvo factory paint is water based and is very weak in the durabilty department.
