Interested in buying an S40, What should I avoid and be aware of? S40-V40

Hi folks,

I'm a c70 owner, and I'm in the market for a compact 4 door sedan. I'm considering the a pre-owned S40 as one of my options, as well as the new s60R.

Can anyone tell me something to look out for and avoid with the s40? Also, what seem to be the HIGH replacement items, ie. brake and rotors, tires, light bulb etc. Do factory brakes still need to be replaced around 10 to 12K on average etc.
