How do I fix the recir and a/c lights when they are flashing? 850 1997

They flash when there is a malfunction in the A/C system. As posted before you need a scantool to read the codes on the '97s. You can pick one up on Ebay cheap enough or order one online. I use the Equus 3100 but the Actron 9135 is another good scantool, they will both give you all the trouble codes. Do you notice poor performance from your A/C system? It could just be low on freon.
