If you need names or numbers of people who've been bitten by this, you can count me in, too.

I was lucky in that my car was purchased as a Certified, and the certified warranty (which has been pretty damn useless) actually covered that repair. I've got about 1500 miles left on it and a list of things that I'd like to check on.

Anyway, it bit me, and I'll join your complaint list. It's ridiculous.
