850 Turbo Smoking 850 1995

My mileage is well over 120,000 (mileage gage went out at 105,600 two years ago). About 8 months ago, the service light came on and a mechanic (and service manual) said it was related to the emission control system and not to worry too much about it, but it should be checked, which I never have done. Now I see oil around my cap and a small amount on top of my block. At idle, the engine sounds a little "fluttery" and a little hiss sound. Plus white smoke does begin to come out at the exhaust (after about 5 minutes of driving) when I'm idling, but seems to disappear when I put it in park.

Any suggestions? Is it time to sell, sell, sell? If I keep it and have it fixed by a mechanical, what amount of money ($$$) are we talking about? and what am I looking at for any furture upcoming repairs "down the road" (so to speak).

Thanks for any input.
