Filter -what is it??

Hi

I have a 93 850 auto with air, right hand drive!

ere is a small paper filter 2 inches by 4 inches (approx) and it is located just above the radiator. It is definately not the airfilter though it looks just like it. There is a plastic tube that runs from it into a large black box. Is it an early style pollen filter?

Anybody know what it is and if there is anywhere that supplies replacement filters??
