Noise from Driver's side front 850

I have had this clunking noise for about three days now and I cannot tell what is causing it so I hoped someone on this board might be able to help. The clunking noise is coming from the driver's side front wheel, you can hear it when you are slowing down from 20 mph to zero, it seems to disappear if you brake to a halt, it disappears if you are in a turn so I do not think it can be the CV joint. The only work that has been done to the car within the past three months is a new set of rotors and pads, I have jacked up that side of the car and have pulled and pushed on everything I can find and nothing seems to be loose. Please, can anyone help, it is driving me crazy.
