96 850 QC issues? 850 1996

Rich,

At 16K$ CDN, it seems a bit high for a 5spd '96GLE "but" if it's
in a mint condition... 72K miles or Km?

One big problem in 1996 is the ABS controller. The problem is sometimes
just some external wiring issues, but more often it seems, the whole
controller needs to be replaced... Big $$$$. I never had so far, that
problem with my 96, but one in a while the ABS light will go on for
few days and go away

Check the A/C, the evaporators are bad on these models.
(again I never had that problem with my 96 but I'm having
it right now on my 95)

Vacuum hoses are always a concern, they cause a lot of problems.... (oh yeah)

The fuel door lock will go out and you'll have to use the manual release.
(very often i,e: most of the time , very frustrating !)
