Hi,
My '94 850 sedan with 139K on it has developed the SUPER ANNOYING quality of a very loud vibration/rattling sound eminating from the front passenger side door panel. When my radio is on, this rattling/vibration is so annoying that one can't even enjoy the music because it overpowers the sound. Interestingly, when the window is all the way down, this almost completely eliminates the noise, and when I physically press on the inner door panel with my hands, this stops the rattle as well. My car did suffer a side impact collision last summer which required repair of both the front and rear passenger side doors. Any chance something in there has "come loose"? Can bondo "come loose" and start rattling? Could this just be as simple as taking the car to a body shop and having them tighten the door panel - and is this something that can even be done? Or is it possible that when the interior door panel was removed, it got somehow bent out of shape, and isn't sitting flush with the door frame? Thanks for any advice. Must be able to drive and listen to tunes!
