Resistance moving in Reverse S70

I've recently encountered some resistance when backing out of the garage in the morning. The car rolls a foot or two and then stops or makes a clunk sound. Feels like I've hit something. Only seems to happen after the car has sat overnight. Shifting into forward and then back into reverse seems to clear the problem. Has anyone else experienced this and will a tranny flush help or will I need to take the tranny apart to find the problem? Thanks for any advice.

1998 S70 T5 Auto tranny 135,000 miles.
