How to disconnect annoying ABS light? 850 1996

Hi, I'm new here....I spent 4 years in the BMW world, but
I am now selling my 1991 318iS (http://thurbers.net/tim/bmw.html)
and about to buy an 850R.

I am aware that these cars suffer repeated ABS
failures (~$700 fix) and I would rather just
forget about the ABS than dump money into it.

However, the dashboard "ABS" light is going to get annoying,
I know it. Is there an easily accessible wire I can snip,
or something I can unplug without taking the whole dashboard
apart? Of course, I don't want to cut a wire and then have THAT
be the cause of other electrical problems.

Also does anyone know of an easy way to replace the bulb that
illuminates the left side of the speedometer? It's burned out
in the car that i'm interested in, and I know that's going to get on
my nerves too.
