Re: E-codes for late models

My Brand-X (Scantech, Chinese?) lenses fit fine. I doubt they are as precisely manufactured as the German lenses, but they're cheaper and with the German Hella bulbs a definite improvement over the German DOT lenses. I've heard the Scantech electrical components look noticably cheezy, but this is just glass. In one single week I ended up replacing a windshield, 2 headlights and a fog light; I was not anxious to spend a grand on glass that week, when there is nothing being done about the rocks flying over the Interstate highway. It took all of 2 days before I collected a nick in the new windshield.
