ATF FLUSH AT HIGH MILES - TO DO OR NOT TO DO??? 850

hi,

i'm planning on flushing mt atf this weekend but have noticed alot of posts telling people not to flush when your car reaches high miles if it hasn't been done regularly before, like every 20-30000 miles.

mine has done 102000 miles and i don't think it has ever been done (i've had it for the last 30000 miles). should i take the risk??

my car has started clunking slightly when accelerating hard so i want to do it soon but i can't afford a new tranny if this one breaks, any advice???

cheers
