steering wheel clunk 850 1997

Good day man
This problem isn't from worn pads or dics it's from your c.v's check your ( volicty joint) are worn.turn your steering colum full to side you will hear a sound like metal against metal this my friend is no good this means you going to have replace some c.v's let me guess the car has more than 100000 miles odo
If it was disc and the pads the steering will become unstabble.
