Inusual post 850

Dittos from me. One thing that weighed in the Swede's favor when I was selecting a used car was that this brand has much more appeal than any domestic (USA) marque. I was almost ready to ask my salesman, "so.... is there a 'volvo wave' I should know about?" Good think I didn't bother, as I have yet to get a nod of recognition from a fellow 850/S/V70 motorist. And I realized, after buying my 855, that there are a lot more Volvos on the road than I had considered before. Considering the market Volvo targets with their obsessive prioritizing of safety, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that most of the mid-aged adults comprising the vast majority of V drivers see the car as merely a high-end appliance.

A club? Well, there's plenty on the Internet, but if there was a local club I would thrilled to try it out. Not sure many others off this board would agree with me.
