Experience with Radiators 850 1995

I think the paint they use on them is strictly short term. The radiator is going to go through so much heating and cooling that that it seems they don't even try to come up with a paint that will last.

I am curious to see how my re-cored diesel rad works out. I had to swap the necks (to match a Chev rad) and I had the shop install an automatic tranny cooler. All together it cost me about $200. Not bad considering what some of the shops are charging. My Volvo is stripped; no power options, no A/C and I live in a cool wet climate so I think my motor will be cool unless I am really hammering the gas pedal.

Cheers,

JCM
