Vibration Blues V70-XC70

yep, it's easy. Cut the inside rubber of the mount with a hacksaw blade and you can get it out with a screwdriver and a little elbow grease. When pressing the new one in, use a threaded rod with 2 nuts and very large washers or plates on both sides to press it in by tightening the nuts until it's where it needs to be.

Many people replace the rubber mount with a poly mount (IPD sells one) but you should note that lot's of people have said that they felt increased motor vibration because of it. I never did it, so I can't say.

I don't know if this is your problem, but sounds like it needs to be done anyway. The purpose of the mount is to stop engine rocking back and forth during accel or decel...I guess you can find out by proces of elimination. Hope this helps.
