We? Who's 'we'? 850

After "Groundhog Day" and I'm not even going to try to explain the handle....

I'd conside the timing belt brakes etc. to be simple maintainance issues. I don't consider a car that's left me stranded twice in the past year to have only suffered simple maintainance requirements. Many of the things that have been replaced under the original and the extended warranty have been repaired for the second and third time. Like clockwork the failures pretty much follow the pattern of the surveys on Kino's website. Some things that were repaired under the original warranty I'm letting go because "I'm not gonna pay $XXXX to fix THAT again!" It's fair to say that the car isn't any worse than my Saabs, the PROBLEM with that is that in general cars are supposed to have gotten more reliable over the last 20 years. I see that in my wife's Honda, which has required the replacement of 2 brake light bulbs, and that's been it for repairs over 50k miles. I don't see any evidence of that in the Volvo at all. So I wish you luck for the next 75k miles!

BTW, over the past 8 years, my 17 year old Porsche has NEVER seen the inside of my local dealer's service department, so they can ask whatever they want for a tune up!
