spool down cool down 850

Probably most necessary immediately after hard running. The ECUs in these cars manage turbo operation so that the turbos run cooler than those operated by purely mechanical means (like our old 740 turbos). Still and all, take a few seconds to idle the engine before shutdown whenever you can...put away the sunglasses, pick up the litter, set the visors, open the roof vent, and other little chores. And as danielflading suggests, synthetic oil for better thermal resistance and flow characteristics.
