Suspension 850 1993

Hi all

I've been driving my wife's 1993 850 GLT sedan recently, because she has taken a shine to my station wagon. I've noticed that it corners poorly. After 10 years, I guess the suspension is allowed to be a little loose. So I climbed underneath to take a look around. All the bushings appear to be in good order and there are no leaks.

My questions are:
1. How do I check the struts and strut mountings?
2. Are the springs worth replacing?
3. How can I tell if I have Nivomat rear shocks?
4. Any other advice?

Many thanks
Simon
