2001 V70 Throttle Response V70-XC70

Another recent experience points to another solution if you are not already using it.

I did an oil change to AMSOIL synthetic and got improved throttle on the low end. I first thought it might be my imagination but the wife tells me she also notice the improvement (It is her car).

Previously, going up slight inclines would have the RPM at < 2000 without really pushing the gas to get the transmission to downshift. The car would feel like it has no power at all.

After the synthetic oil change, the car definitely have more available power at the same driving condition. While it isn't like a v8, the overall response is much more pleasant based on our fairly none aggressive driving style.

Now we don't play around with the geartronic transmission to manually get power at higher RPMs.
