Functional obsolecense 850 1997

The rear window is wind buffering. Common problem on modern
cars. Staring in 98 the sunroof auto-opens to a position that
minimizes it.

Rotors are good for about 60 - 70K miles. www.volvoparts.com
sells front rotors for about $60. Install rotors and pads
is a pretty easy do it yourself project following instructions
at http://volvospeed.com/bay13.htm. I use OEM parts.

The ABS module is a known trouble spot. Many people first check
the electrical connects. There is also a guy with a web site who
claims he can repair the original module. A few searches on ABS
on this site should find those references.
