Bad Radio Reception S70 2000

Our S70 is having the same problem. Our dealership has taken a look at it but unfortunately Volvo HQ told them that if the problem is not present when you are listening to a tape or CD then it's just a reception problem. So we are being told we have a reception problem and that it's "normal" to have the radio go in and out. I'm not convinced which is why I'm here trying to do some research. Please let me know if you (or anyone else) come up with anything on this issue!
