broken - fixed solenoid 850 1993

when i got my 850 a year ago i thought the keyless entry was just screwed up because it was opening all the doors except the drivers door, rendering it useless. so i havent used it at all. well i finally thought about fixing it and figured that it must be the solenoid in the drivers door; when you manually lock it, it locks the other doors so its not an electrical problem. well i go to unlock my passenger's door to put a bag in tonight and it unlocks all the doors. strange. when i get home i try the keyless entry and now the door works. it seems upon threat of replacement my solenoid promtly fixed itself. has anyone's done this to them and does it last or just break again (i thought it was too good to be true). thanks in advance for the insights. ~delic
