Smoothed out the idle!! 850

Dear All

Saturday morning and I checked out my oil levels and cleaned the flame trap. While I had the hoses off I checked the vacuum hoses and connections. There I found a problem with a 'one way' or check valve. It was blocked! It is a two colour black and cream and is fitted on a small vacuum hose that runs from the vac tower to a tee piece. The check valve is fitted before the 'tee' piece.

So now the motor idles a lot more smoothly, not like a v6 but better than before. It starts better too.

So check out those vac hoses and connections and any check valves if you have a rough idle.
