Reply Problems Re: Input Shaft Bearing

Thanks for re-posting. I have the throwout bearing noise also. That's been diagnosed and I just live with it. The input shaft bearing WAS diagnosed when I stopped into a Volvo dealership and asked a tech to step outside to listen. After "monitoring" the car for two days, they claim to hear nothing. IT ALWAYS MAKES THE NOISE...it is loud enough to hear at all times. They are denying the noise is abnormal in the same way they might try to convince me the car is painted red (it's blue).

It didn't make the noise when I bought it, nor for the first 10k or so. It's clearly a failing part that I want them to fix or replace. THey never have stick shifts to compare it to on the lot.

How can I reach Volvo N.A.? Is this my next move?

Thanks,

Jeff
