Ac Leak - HELP!!!! 850 1995

The dye is typically added during arecharge and the next trip back
is when they look for a leak. If it went a year without running down
then I'd bet it was never looked at.

Our 95 ran low and last summer it was recharged (by a mechanic who evacuated
all refrigerant and added back the required 1.8 lbs). It is still going
strong this summer. I'm hoping a recharge every 2 or 3 years will
buy another decade (for a lot less then replacing the evaporator).
I had dye added at the time but the AC has not been looked at since
because it is still going strong.
