Rear Shock Mount Bolt Broken 850 1996

I replaced the drivers side rear shock mount on my '96 855T, and was quite please with myself. Thanks Brickboard. The next day when I went to replace the trim pieces I noticed one of the bolts broke. How the heck do I get that out of there? Did I overtighten/undertighten? Is this a safety issue in the short term?
