HELP!! Need assistence ASAP please, control arm replacement...

Well, I did it this time. I started a control arm replacement this morning, and I'm still into it at 5:00 pm. I just can't get that friggin ball joint free from the knuckle. It's not rusted in, because it is turning freely. I pulled the two chassis bolts in an effort to possibly help free the ball joint, but to no avail. I've worked for 2 hours trying to separate that clasp on the knuckle, but I just can't get the ball joint to come out. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to just pry super hard or what? I'm afraid I'm going to break something.

I really need some help!

much thanks,

kevin
