Engine oil seperator - Where is it? 850

if you want to properly view the oil separator, or renew the hose to it, yo will need to remove the inlet manifold.

Is the vehicle a turbo? Turbos dont have flame traps. And the oil separators and associated pipework are different.

If yours is a non-turbo and more than 40,000 miles on it, you should remove the flame trap altogether (Volvo technical bulletin)
